Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College requires background checks of all students in the health occupations programs (Associate Degree Nursing, Medical Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant) prior to enrolling in any clinical courses.  Failure to submit a background check will suspend the matriculation process and/or enrollment in any clinical courses.

The background check report must be completed by Verified Credentials, Inc.  Please follow the instructions as directed on this Verified Credentials, Inc. website.  You will be required to provide identifying information as well as a payment source for the $45.00 fee.  You will be directed through the application process and results will be returned to you as well as to your health occupation program at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College.  It is important that you submit information in a timely fashion. 

It is essential that your professional program be able to document this background check for you when requested by hospitals, clinics, and other sites utilized for clinical experiences.
