Creighton University requires background checks of its students prior to matriculation and their experience with clinical sites.  Failure to submit a background check will delay the matriculation process and/or entrance into an experiential rotation.

The background check report must be completed by Verified Credentials, Inc.  Please follow the instructions as directed on this Verified Credentials, Inc. website.  You will be required to provide identifying information as well as a payment source.  You will be directed through the application process and results will be returned to you as well as Creighton University.  It is important that you submit information in a timely fashion.

 

It is essential that Creighton University be able to document this background check for you when requested by hospitals, clinics, and other non-CU training sites.
